  • Description

    Water was such a pleasant resource. And so the Ice/Shadow Dragon could often be found wallowing in the depths of a pool. The colder, the better. If it was frozen, so much more of a bonus.

    Inheriting the size of her Shadow kin, the Dragoness is none the less a decent eleven feet in length. And yet her wings are an odd 30 feet from wing tip to wing tip. This may have to do with her dense bones, an inherent from her Ice Kin.

    Sapphire blue is the color one would first see, but closer inspection would show no scales armor her frame, and her body seems almost as if plucked from the cosmos. She is adorned with brilliant silver tribals, even as silver runs along her chest and through her wings. From her skull curve two sets of spiraling ram like horns. A bit out of place on the Dragoness... but certainly they have a purpose... Right? Despite the size of her wings, she's mastered how to make them look graceful, keeping them hooked over her chest much like a cloak. She calls no one a friend anymore

  • Biography

    Her Mother was a Shadow Dragon, her Father an Ice. But instead of inheriting her Mother's appearance, like her siblings all had, the hatchling was the only to carry the looks of her father. Often criticized for this fact, she put her nest-mates in their places, often bullying them to the point her Mother was forced to step in. Dragons respected power, but the newly hatched female was seen as cruel even by Dragon standards.

    This is, until she started to grow. Her father was massive, nearly 37 feet, and he expected his daughter to be the same size. So when she only grew to be 11 from nose to tail, he seemed puzzled. Though the Drake didn't care much for his daughters. He knew he couldn't breed with them, for their mother, seeing her daughters as competition, drove them all from her territory as soon as she was sure they were able to survive on their own.

    Isolated by choice, the Dragoness didn't bother looking back as she sought a Territory, and a male, of her own. But so far, the small Ice/Shadow mix had little to no luck finding a male close enough to her size, or in the same species. She'd found others interested in mating, but none that would be able to rise with her during a mating flight. So she wanders, sticking to lands with cool ponds during the summer, and frozen lakes come winter.

    As the years came and went, the dragon has grown yet again. 20 feet from nose to tail, 12 feet at the shoulder, and with a 42 foot wingspan, it seems the Ness was finally filling out. She had lost her fledgling wobble, adopting the smooth glide of one sure of themselves. And the necklace she wore almost resembled a collar, an intricately forged silver and sapphire design that complimented the tribals that danced along her frame. She bore the signs of a Rider, the impression from the saddle not quite fading from her hide
